Builtech is currently seeking an Assistant Superintendent ready to join our fast-paced and team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in coordinating daily operational objectives, timelines and goals.
• Assist with the on-site safety program to maintain a safe jobsite per the requirements of OSHA and the Builtech Safety Plan.
• Develop and manage project schedules using Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Project.
• Schedule and coordinate subcontractors and ensure overall contractual performance.
• Assist project team in developing and implementing project procedures, management tools, standards, etc.
• Includes interfacing with owners, subcontractors and architects.
• Daily communication with your project teammates.

Position Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in construction or a construction-related college degree is preferred
• Proficiency in computer software systems: MS Office (including Excel and Project) and Procore
• Leadership skills such as self-awareness, positivity, assertiveness, delegation, negotiation & organization
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 40 lbs and push and/or pull 40-pound loads at the same time
• Must be able to stand, walk & climb multiple sets of stairs while carrying materials weighing up to 40 lbs
• Must be able to traverse and inspect all areas of jobsite in all types of weather; this may include walking, climbing, reaching, bending, or stretching
• Exposure to characteristic construction site dangers
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Valid Drivers License and willingness to travel
