Chipton-Ross is seeking a Painter for a contract opportunity in Archbald, PA.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):Ability to read and understand complex blueprints and sketches, including paint, marking, plating, and touch-up instructionsAbility to differentiate between thread sizes, pitch, metric, and standard threadsAbility to work safely with chemicals such as solvents, acidic and alkaline solutions, and aqueous cleanersAbility to qualify and retain process certificationsExperience using measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and thickness gaugesPOSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:Coat surfaces of parts, assemblies, and finished products using spray gun, brush, or rollerAssist with paint prep including cleaning, masking/unmasking, and tapping holesUse solvents, aqueous cleaners, and abrasive blasting to clean partsApply localized tin plating and perform light mechanical assemblyWash, mask, shot/abrasive blast, and apply metal flame spray per manufacturing instructionsMark components using silk screen, stencil, or pad printing methodsCreate paper stencils and apply markings using various inks and paintsEnsure quality in accordance with statistical process or control proceduresDESIRED EXPERIENCE:Experience with silk screen, stenciling, pad or other printing processesUse of grinding tools for metal finishingMix and spray various types of paints and primers to precise tolerancesExperience applying metal flame spray to parts and welded structuresREQUIRED EDUCATION:Accredited High School Diploma or EquivalentWORK HOURS:4/10 work schedule2nd ShiftMondayThursday, 4:18 PM 2:48 AM EST
