Our client, a global automaker, is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to join their team. As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will be part of the Operations Department supporting the production teams. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, strong communication abilities, and a goal-oriented mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor

Location: Kokomo, IN

Pay Range: $34/h + Benefits

What's the Job?

  • Assist and coach Team Leaders and Team Members on 5S activities in the assigned departments.
  • Identify contamination sources and establish countermeasures to eliminate them.
  • Manage machine classification based on cost deployment and breakdown maps, leading OEE, MTBF, and MTTR analysis.
  • Lead spare parts management activities, striving for minimal loss due to part availability.
  • Facilitate communication between departments and provide maintenance support for machinery and process-related activities.

What's Needed?

  • High School Diploma or GED, ( Bachelors degree in technical/engineering field preferred)
  • Minimum 3 years of industrial automation experience with project management experience.
  • Excellent organization, written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and build effective business relationships.
  • Experience leading maintenance teams in a union environment
  • Experience with: controls, robotics, drives and system level communication systems, sealing systems, glass cell systems, various conveyance systems, welding - all types, paint process and associated systems, visionsystems and sensors use and application.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and be available for any shift.
