Asbestos Abatement Worker - Level 2 Cert

ivision 2 Environmental Ltd is looking to hire experienced Hazmat Abatement workers in Metro Vancouver. Division 2 is an established and growing commercial Hazmat Abatement company with job sites throughout Metro Vancouver, Victoria and Nanaimo.

Duties are as follows, but not limited to:
Follow Safe Work Procedures (SWP)
Removal of asbestos-containing materials
Removal lead-containing materials
Bag hazmat materials
Load hazmat materials into rolling bins and transfer them to disposal bins
Familiar with hand tools and power tools
Follow decontamination procedures

Responsibilities:
- Respect Company tools & equipment
- Maintain proper work attire & PPE
- Represent company favorably while onsite
- Work safely and within abilities
- Read and understand the daily work schedule
- Notify Supervisors of unsafe conditions
- Notify Supervisors of near-miss or injuries onsite
- Arrive at site fit for work
- Able to work as part of a team

Below are the required qualifications/ skills:
- Asbestos Level 2 certified

All applicants must have Basic PPE (hard hat, steel-toed boots, hi-vis vest). All other/specialized PPE supplied.
