A reputable and long-standing general contractor in your area is seeking a skilled Estimator to join its dynamic team. This contractor is known for successfully delivering impactful projects in the education and government sectors, with a strong commitment to quality, community, and long-term partnerships.

What You’ll Do:

• Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for projects.

• Perform quantity takeoffs and analyze construction documents to define scope and budget requirements.

• Manage the end-to-end estimating process, coordinating with internal teams, owners, designers, and subcontractors.

• Maintain thorough records of estimates, pricing history, and bid outcomes to support continuous improvement.

• Evaluate design documents and recommend cost-effective solutions based on availability and constructability.

• Solicit and analyze proposals from subcontractors and vendors; participate in outreach to expand the bidder pool.

• Support procurement activities and assist with post-bid estimating needs such as change orders or revisions.

What You Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field OR 4–7+ years of relevant estimating experience.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel, and industry-standard estimating software.

• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple deadlines and maintain accuracy under pressure.

• Clear and effective communicator, both written and verbal.

• A collaborative mindset and a proactive approach to solving problems.
