Traveling Welder/Millwright Nationwide | Long-Term Opportunity | Based in Gillette, WY**
**Per Diem & Lodging Provided | In-Person Weld Test Required**
Adecco is hiring experienced **Traveling Welders/Millwrights** for long-term industrial projects based out of **Gillette, Wyoming** . This is a **travel-intensive** position supporting sites across the U.S., with **lodging and daily per diem provided** . Candidates must be willing to travel frequently and complete an **in-person weld test in Gillette, WY** as part of the hiring process.
**Position Summary:**
Youll be responsible for field-based welding, fabrication, mechanical troubleshooting, and heavy equipment repair across a variety of industrial and mining environments. If you're a highly skilled tradesperson who enjoys hands-on work, nationwide travel, and job stabilitythis role is for you.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Inspect and troubleshoot heavy industrial equipment (mechanical, hydraulic, electrical).
+ Perform high-quality welding and fabrication (MIG, TIG, Stick, Sub-Arc, etc.).
+ Read blueprints and layout jobs for repair or fabrication.
+ Execute crack repair, bore build-up, light machining, and structural welding.
+ Operate diagnostic tools and rigging/lifting equipment safely.
+ Maintain detailed service documentation and job estimates.
+ Support team communication and training when needed.
+ Uphold safety standards and follow all PPE requirements.

**Qualifications:**
+ High school diploma or equivalent
+ Valid drivers license with clean MVR
+ Industrial welding and mechanical repair experience required
+ Proficiency with layout, fit-up, welding processes, and blueprint reading
+ Familiarity with gears, seals, bushings, hydraulics, and NDT (UT/MT) preferred
+ Welding certifications preferred (8000Ni2, II70, Stick, Hardwire)
+ Ability to pass a **hands-on weld test in Gillette, WY**
**Physical Requirements:**
+ Heavy lifting up to 50 lbs.
+ Frequent walking, standing, climbing, and work at heights
+ Regular exposure to dirt, grease, extreme temperatures, and outdoor conditions
+ Use of all required PPE
**Base Location:**
This position is based out of **Gillette, Wyoming** . Candidates must be able to **travel to Gillette for the in-person weld test and onboarding** .
