Position Overview:
Looking for a highly skilled Field Mechanic with strong experience in heavy equipment maintenance and repair. This position supports field operations by performing on-site diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs on a variety of heavy construction equipment. The ideal candidate should be self-sufficient, safety-conscious, and capable of working independently in fast-paced environments.
Requirements:
Minimum 10 years of experience in heavy equipment maintenance and repair
Valid driver's license required
Welding and fabrication experience
Strong knowledge of diesel engines and hydraulic systems
Class B CDL required for field travel and equipment transportation
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Ability to diagnose and repairplex mechanical and electrical systems
Capable of managing and mentoring a small team of mechanics when needed
Hands-on experience operating and servicing various types of heavy construction equipment (excavators, dozers, loaders, etc.)
Crane maintenance experience (a plus)
Small engine knowledge (a plus)
PA State Inspection License (preferred)
Class A CDL (preferred)
NCCCO crane license and/or NJ/PA crane licenses (preferred)
