Oversee learning & competencies development by defining, designing and creating the global training curriculum for the global Bid and Project Management community.
The role is key to enable our global Bid and Project Management community with the best knowledge of Tender and Project Management processes and usage of applications and tools. All aspects of competency and capabilities need to be continuously developed and updated to cover the actual business demand of Alstom operating model. Bid and Project Management competencies are to be developed as per TPO and Learning and Development roadmap for the Project academy to ensure a global approach across Regions and Product Lines.
Main point of contact reporting to the Senior Training Manager for all operational aspects of Bid and Project Management competence development regarding the global training offer and the Project Management academy digital learning library page in Alstom University.
Continuously develop and update based on defined job competencies, the learning and development strategy to cover growing Project and Bid community and business demand of Alstom operating model.
- Support all aspects of updates in the Project Management Academy to ensure state of the art training technologies are accessible Project and Bid Management community. Ensure Project Management Academy page is up to date, reflecting the latest job roles and available trainings. Maintain academy training overview list with up-to-date information regarding course content, job code allocation, competency level etc.
- Based on Project and Bid Management competency/training gaps and learning orientation roadmap, coordinate training developments or updates/enhancements of training material with Subject Matter Experts and potentially external agencies. If an external development is needed, support RFP-Request for Proposal process by synthesizing request and following up proposals and selection. Design training strategy with subject matter expert. Create/Review training material to ensure compliance with objectives and user-friendly digital training experience.
- Build a strong link between the Project and Bid Management competency matrixes for each Metier and the learning curriculum. Based on available learning material and yearly competency development, conduct gap analysis per metier and competency to identify weak areas and propose corrective actions for training development.
- Manage and coordinate the implementation and deployment of the global training curriculum for the Project and Bid Management community as per offer on the Project Management Academy digital page. Align with other function / metiers, Alstom University and HR, across all Regions and Product Lines to ensure a high level of competency development in bid and project execution.
- Liaise with function owners to identify and select new trainers based on needs. Onboard coordinate and animate global training community for bid and project management and deployment program for Project and Bid community.
- Support the communication and sharing of updates/best practices and associated tools to Project and Bid Metier leaders based on latest news from Alstom University/Other Academies/HR etc.
- Monitor training quality and participation by following up KPIs, follow-up deployment strategy and training effectiveness and propose corrective actions accordingly.
