Pipe Welders - Thermocore & Carbon Steel Work | Huntsville, AL | Government Project

Only applicants within a 50-mile radius of Huntsville, AL will be considered. No travel allowances offered.

CCS is now hiring experienced Pipe Welders for a government mechanical project in Huntsville, AL. This position requires experience working with underground thermocore piping and carbon steel for CHW (chilled water) and HW (hot water) systems. Welders must be highly skilled and ready to hit the ground running.

Scope of Work:

• Weld and install thermocore pipe underground

• Carbon steel welds on CHW and HW piping inside the facility

• Read and interpret isometric drawings and specifications

• Collaborate with fitters for proper layout and installation

• Perform clean, code-compliant welds with high attention to safety

Requirements:

• 5+ years of pipe welding experience

• Proficient with carbon steel and underground piping systems

• Must have own welding hood, tools, and PPE (hard hat, vest, gloves, glasses, boots)

• Able to start work Monday, August 4

• Must work well in a team and meet quality expectations

• Government project - background-friendly site (no badge required to start)
