Job Description Lead environmental engineering projects including site assessments, remediation, permitting, and compliance. Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables across multiple active sites. Coordinate with clients, regulatory agencies, contractors, and internal teams. Prepare and review technical reports, proposals, and environmental documentation. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal environmental regulations. Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance. Support business development efforts through proposal writing and client presentations. Responsibilities
- Lead and manage environmental engineering projects from inception to completion.
- Oversee site assessments, remediation processes, and ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables to meet client expectations.
- Coordinate effectively with clients, regulatory agencies, contractors, and internal teams.
- Prepare and review technical reports, proposals, and other environmental documentation.
- Mentor junior engineers, providing technical guidance and support.
- Contribute to business development through proposal writing and client presentations.
- 7+ years of experience in the environmental field.
- Project management expertise.
- Proficiency in site assessments and environmental remediation.
- Strong understanding of geology and environmental engineering.
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE).
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with OER/Brownfield projects.
- OSHA 40 certification.
- Knowledge of construction and environmental construction.
- Experience in writing reports and conducting Phase I and Phase II environmental site assessments.
- Hazwoper certification.
