Our dedicated team is committed to making solar energy accessible and affordable for homeowners across the country.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eWe are currently in search of a skilled Installer who will be responsible for assembling, installing, and maintaining solar PV systems..\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eDuties/Responsibilities:\u003c/strong\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cul\u003e\u003cli\u003eAssembles and installs solar panels on roofs\u003c/li\u003e\u003cli\u003eConfigures PV systems based on site conditions and customers needs and expectations; connects panels to the power grid\u003c/li\u003e\u003cli\u003eMaintain high levels of quality assurance and quality control with an emphasis on crew safety\u003c/li\u003e\u003cli\u003eComplete projects within established policies and procedures\u003c/li\u003e\u003cli\u003eEnsures that equipment is weather sealed\u003c/li\u003e\u003cli\u003ePerforms routine maintenance on PV systems\u003c/li\u003e\u003cli\u003eResponsible for assisting the Electrician with connecting PV panels to the electrical system\u003c/li\u003e\u003cli\u003ePerforms other related duties as assigned\u003c/li\u003e\u003c/ul\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eRequired Skills/Abilities:\u003c/strong\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cul\u003e\u003cli\u003eExtensive knowledge of PV equipment and installation.\u003c/li\u003e\u003cli\u003eExtensive knowledge of electrical wiring and equipment.\u003c/li\u003e\u003cli\u003eExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills.\u003c/li\u003e\u003cli\u003eAbility to read building plans.\u003c/li\u003e\u003cli\u003eAbility to read equipment manuals.\u003c/li\u003e\u003cli\u003eAbility to use hand and power tools to install PV panels.\u003c/li\u003e\u003cli\u003eAbility to use ION technology, such as smartphones, Paycom, Field Pro, SalesForce, etc.\u003c/li\u003e\u003c/ul\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eEducation and Experience:\u003c/strong\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cul\u003e\u003cli\u003eHigh school diploma or equivalent required.\u003c/li\u003e\u003cli\u003eVocational or technical school training preferred.\u003c/li\u003e\u003cli\u003eExperience in solar, roofing, or construction preferred\u003c/li\u003e\u003c/ul\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cstrong\u003ePhysical Requirements:\u003c/strong\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cul\u003e\u003cli\u003eMust be able to work at great heights.\u003c/li\u003e\u003cli\u003eProlonged periods of kneeling, bending, crouching, and climbing ladders.\u003c/li\u003e\u003cli\u003eMust be able to lift at least 50 pounds at a time.\u003c/li\u003e\u003c/ul\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eWork Environment:\u003c/strong\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cul\u003e\u003cli\u003ePV installation is done outdoors. Installers work on rooftops but also sometimes work in attics and crawl spaces to connect panels to the electrical grid.\u003c/li\u003e\u003cli\u003ePV installers work as part of a team.
