The ideal candidate will be comfortable working outdoors in various conditions and be capable of operating a variety of hand and power tools.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eKey Responsibilities:\u003c/strong\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cul\u003e\u003cli\u003eAssist with the installation, repair, and maintenance of underground utilities.\u003c/li\u003e\u003cli\u003eOperate tools and equipment such as air hammers, tampers, and cement mixers.\u003c/li\u003e\u003cli\u003ePrepare and clean construction sites by removing debris and potential hazards.\u003c/li\u003e\u003cli\u003eExcavate and backfill trenches manually or with machinery.\u003c/li\u003e\u003cli\u003eSignal and assist equipment operators to ensure safe movement and alignment of machinery and materials.\u003c/li\u003e\u003cli\u003eDirect and control traffic near and within work zones for safety.\u003c/li\u003e\u003cli\u003eMaintain tools and equipment by cleaning and lubricating them regularly.\u003c/li\u003e\u003cli\u003eSupport skilled tradespeople and follow instructions from supervisors and foremen.\u003c/li\u003e\u003c/ul\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cstrong\u003ePreferred Qualifications:\u003c/strong\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cul\u003e\u003cli\u003eValid Driver's License (required).\u003c/li\u003e\u003cli\u003eAbility to work as part of a team in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.\u003c/li\u003e\u003c/ul\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cstrong\u003ePhysical \u0026 Environmental Requirements:\u003c/strong\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cul\u003e\u003cli\u003eMust be able to bend, squat, push, pull, crawl, kneel, climb, and balance.\u003c/li\u003e\u003cli\u003eFrequent reaching above shoulder height and crouching.\u003c/li\u003e\u003cli\u003eRepetitive movement of both feet and use of both hands for grasping and manipulation.\u003c/li\u003e\u003cli\u003eMust be able to stand for up to 4 hours and walk for up to 3 hours during an 8-hour shift.\u003c/li\u003e\u003cli\u003eFrequently lift and carry loads up to 24 lbs.\u003c/li\u003e\u003cli\u003eExposure to outdoor elements, including extreme weather, dust, fumes, and noise.\u003c/li\u003e\u003cli\u003eWork around moving machinery and in environments with variable temperatures and humidity.\u003c/li\u003e\u003c/ul\u003e","shortDescription":"Position Over: We are seeking a hardworking and dependable Underground Utilities Laborer to join our team.
