Position Summary

Key Responsibilities
Machine Setup: Prepare and configure laser cutting machines based on technical drawings, work orders, and project specifications.
Production Execution: Operate laser equipment to cut metal and other materials with high precision, ensuring compliance with dimensional and quality standards.
Process Monitoring: Continuously monitor the cutting process, adjusting speed, laser power, and focus for optimal performance and minimal material waste.
Troubleshooting: Diagnose and correct operational issues to reduce downtime and maintain smooth workflow.
Quality Control: Use measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) to inspect parts and verify conformance to specifications.
Collaboration: Communicate and coordinate with engineers, technicians, and team members to ensure project timelines and quality objectives are met.
Safety & Cleanliness: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, following all safety protocols and wearing required protective equipment.
Qualifications
Education: High school diploma or GED required. Technical training or certifications in CNC, manufacturing, or machinery operation are a plus.
Experience: 1-3 years of experience in operating laser cutting machines or CNC equipment preferred.
Skills:
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with laser cutting systems.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Physically capable of standing for extended periods and lifting moderate loads.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Effective communication and teamwork skills.
