Welder Fabricator

We are working with an engineering and manufacturing business based in Sheffield, specialising in the design and production of custom industrial equipment. With a strong reputation for quality and innovation, our cleint serves a diverse client base across multiple industries both in the UK and internationally. The Role: We are currently seeking a skilled Welder Fabricator to join our client's workshop team. The ideal candidate will have experience across a range of welding techniques and a solid background in fabrication work. You'll be working on bespoke projects, reading from technical drawings, and producing high-quality finished components. Hours 6am - 4.30pm Monday to Thursday 7am - 12.30pm - Fridays 45 Hours Key Responsibilities: Perform MIG, STICK (ARC), and TIG welding to a good standard Fabricate and assemble metal structures from drawings and specifications Use a variety of workshop tools and machinery (saws, grinders, drills, etc.) Inspect finished work for quality and accuracy Work independently and as part of a team to meet production deadlines Maintain a safe and tidy work environment in accordance with company procedures Requirements: Proven experience in welding and fabrication (minimum 3 years ) Competent in MIG and TIG welding; STICK welding experience desirable Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship Good problem-solving skills and initiative Valid welding qualifications are advantageous but not essential Benefits: Early Finish Fridays Supportive team environment Secure, long-term employment in a growing company 20 Days Annual Leave + Bank Holidays Disclaimer At Venatu Recruitment Group, your right to privacy is important to us.
