Entry Level Welder

A facility located in Tyler is seeking to hire an entry level welder Pay range: $22-$24 per hour Key Responsibilities: Perform MIG, TIG, and stick welding on structural steel components. Follow welding procedures and specifications to meet project and quality requirements. Operate welding equipment safely and efficiently in accordance with company standards. Assist with cutting, grinding, and cleaning materials in preparation for welding. Set up welding stations and adjust equipment based on job-specific instructions. Support layout and assembly of components for welding Inspect finished welds to identify and correct defects such as cracks or porosity Conduct basic maintenance and cleaning of welding equipment and tools Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and project leads Qualifications: High School Diploma Certified welding program or vocational training in welding preferred Familiarity with basic welding techniques and tools Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
