Fiber Construction Inspector

Akkodis is seeking a Fiber Construction Inspector for a Contract job with a client in Boulevard Alpharetta, GA . This is a 100% remote role within the state of Georgia, requiring fieldwork and occasional remote work from home. Candidates must have experience in telecom construction inspection and be comfortable working in a dynamic, field-focused environment. Rate Range: $32/hour to $36/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Fiber Construction Inspector job responsibilities include: Manage warehouse operations including inventory management, vendor outfitting, and cable inventory. Document fiber inventory and incident reports using Microsoft CRM. Provide on-site support during major outages or sensitive network events. Collaborate with internal teams to update handbooks and policies with current standards and best practices. Conduct strand mapping, make-ready rides, and post-construction rides with utility partners. Desired Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent required. 3+ years of experience in telecom construction inspection. Strong construction background is highly desired. Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, Visio, etc.). Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Basic understanding of web application infrastructure and database technologies. Demonstrated problem-solving skills and a strong sense of ownership and urgency.
