Project Supervisor/Home Improvement contractor We are a smaller home remodeling company starting the interview process for a Project Supervisor/Remodeler to help a growing business. This person must have: -A valid drivers license -A truck or trailer to carry tools and materials -Great communication skills -Understanding and the ability to manage multiple home improvement projects -You must be computer literate and good with a phone and directions -Be able to tow/drive a trailer and back it up. -Willing to step in and get their hands dirty when your help is needed. -Talking to employees and customers with respect and professionalism -Tools to do repairs when needed -Knowledge and some skills in home improvement. Tile, drywall, cabinet installation and more. -Willingness to travel about 1 hour in each way from Knoxville. This position would be great for someone who has been in the business hands on, maybe someone who has owned their own business but who wants to slowly transition into a Project Supervisor/Home Improvement contractor. A typical day may include going to HD in the morning, picking up materials and delivering them to the job site, checking on the progress of the job, talking on the phone to the customers and business owner, making small punchiest repairs, plumbing in a sink, installing a few pieces of base board, spending time with the owner meeting new clients, talking to customers and sending emails. Talking to vendors and seeking new relationships. Some weeks may be 50/50 between doing repairs and business development, other weeks may be different.
