We are seeking talented electrical engineers at a seasoned senior or principal engineer level. This is a Part Time role working 30 hours or less per week on average, with opportunities in: Kennesaw, GA (Suburb of Atlanta) Overland Park, KS Naperville, IL (Suburb of Chicago) Dallas, TX Fort Worth, TX Kennewick, WA Baton Rouge, LA Birmingham, AL Chattanooga, TN Palm Beach Gardens, FL Glendale, AZ (Suburb of Phoenix) Aiken, SC King of Prussia, PA This role could also be located in other ENERCON locations, or possibly remote based on location within the United States. Responsibilities Our engineers have the opportunity to collaborate with interdisciplinary partners, coordinate with diverse engineering teams and ensure project success. A typical day may include developing design studies, preparing engineering calculations and analysis, attending project meetings, performing a walkdown, or mentoring junior employees. We help you apply your skills to exciting and important projects. You will also need to: Collaborate Across Disciplines: Act as the bridge between engineering teams, ensuring seamless integration and coordination across all project disciplines Shape Project Success: Develop innovative design studies, define project scopes, and create accurate engineering estimates to drive project excellence Master Procurement and Installation: Draft detailed specifications for electrical equipment, evaluate technical bids, and select top-tier solutions to meet project needs Perform Precision Calculations: Execute essential electrical calculations that form the foundation of successful designs and installations Think Creatively: Bring fresh perspectives and innovative solutions to solve complex technical challenges and push projects forward Be Hands-On in the Field: Travel to project sites, conduct walkdowns, oversee installations, and support start-up activities to ensure quality and compliance Lead and Inspire Teams: Foster a positive, goal-oriented environment with your motivational leadership style, empowering teams to achieve success #LI-AS1 #LI-AS1 Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent in related field for the position and a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience Experience supporting modifications of Nuclear Power Plants or Power System experience is required Experience in electrical codes, standards and criteria for power systems Demonstrated proficiency in preparation of electrical calculations is desired Makes recommendations based on knowledge and experience Proficient in Microsoft Suite Excellent writing, presentation and communication skills Ability to be an individual contributor and work effectively in teams Candidates who have mentorship experience or a desire to mentor early to mid career engineers preferred Must be able to perform plant walkdowns Must be able to get badged at a nuclear facility Pay Range USD $90,000.00 - USD $177,450.00 /Yr.
