**Position:** Traveling Superintendent
**Location:** Southeast Region
**Compensation:** $120,000$170,000 Annually
**Benefits:** Full Benefits Package | Paid Time Off | 401(k) | Relocation Assistance
**About the Role**
We are seeking a highly motivated Traveling Superintendent to oversee field operations for heavy civil and infrastructure projects across the Southeast. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives in dynamic environments and is committed to safety, quality, and team success.
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Communicate project updates clearly and promptly to all relevant stakeholders.
+ Understand project scope and proactively identify risks and opportunities.
+ Develop and execute detailed project work plans aligned with overall goals.
+ Ensure all work is performed safely and meets quality standards the first time.
+ Lead daily planning sessions to prepare crews for successful execution.
+ Review timesheets and use quantity logs to verify labor and production accuracy.
+ Maintain and update a two-week lookahead schedule in alignment with the master schedule.
+ Track project progress through daily reports, job photos, and labor hour reviews.
+ Align manpower and equipment for maximum efficiency and productivity.
+ Foster development opportunities for field personnel and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
+ Safeguard company and rental equipment, ensuring proper use and maintenance.
+ Report all incidents, near misses, rework, and safety concerns in a timely manner.
+ Maintain strong client relationships through consistent engagement and professionalism.
**Qualifications**
+ **Required:**
+ Valid drivers license
+ Willingness to travel extensively across the Southeast
+ Participation in pre-employment and random drug screening
+ Ability to pass a background check
+ **Preferred:**
+ Experience in heavy civil, roadwork, or infrastructure projects
+ Strong leadership and communication skills
+ Familiarity with construction planning and scheduling tools
