Heavy Equipment Operator Job Description Join our team as a Heavy Equipment Operator for a Solar BESS project. You will be responsible for operating a variety of heavy machinery including dozers, excavators, skid steers, and dump trucks on a new construction site. Responsibilities Operate heavy machinery such as dozers, excavators, skid steers, and dump trucks. Perform civil work on a Solar BESS project site. Ensure safe and efficient operation of all equipment. Conduct routine maintenance checks on equipment. Collaborate with team members to complete project objectives. Essential Skills Proficiency in operating heavy equipment such as excavators, dozers, skid steers, and dump trucks. Experience in construction and civil work. Ability to work on a Southern company site, specifically the former Plant Gorgas for Alabama Power. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in operating backhoes.
