Job Description
A Quality Assurance Analyst is needed for a global power leader in the Whitestown, IN area. The Quality Assurance Analyst manages supplier returns and inventory quality issues by maintaining tracking systems, processing returns, and coordinating with internal teams and suppliers to resolve product quality concerns.
location: Whitestown, Indiana
job type: Contract
salary: $17.25 - 22.00 per hour
work hours: 8am to 5pm
education: Associates
responsibilities:
- Manage and update the return log file to track supplier returns.
- Maintain the stock check file for customer-requested inventory checks.
- Process supplier returns efficiently and within required timeframes.
- Track and communicate inventory value pending return to the team.
- Manage the inspection flag system to identify defective inventory at the receiving dock.
- Create MNCs (Material Non-Conformances) in the CQMS system.
- Support other quality-related tasks as needed.
- Computer proficiency (likely in Excel, databases, and possibly quality systems like CQMS).
- Analytical skills to evaluate and resolve shipment and return issues.
- Cross-functional communication to coordinate with operations, transportation, and suppliers.
- Bachelor's degree preferred, but equivalent relevant experience will be considered.
- Preferred experience in warehousing, quality control, or logistics with responsibilities similar to the role.
