Heavy Equipment Operator

Duties include operating, maintaining, inspecting and performing minor repairs on machines and equipment such as dump trucks, excavators, loaders, track loaders, and HydroVac machine in accordance with safety procedures; maintaining records of the work performed; erecting barriers for protection of workers and worksite; assisting the supervisor and other departments when needed; and providing assistance in maintaining stock of supplies and materials. Must have the ability to read and write at a level necessary for successful job performance. A high school diploma or equivalent, and at least one year of related experience required. Must have a valid Texas Class A Commercial Driver's License. Must also be available for emergency call-outs after normal hours. Applicants must submit hours of availability with application.

PAY GRADE GG14 / FULL PAY RANGE $ 21.61 - $ 30.47 PER HOUR
