The Role Were seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Purchasing Coordinator to join our dynamic Supply Chain team. In this role, youll be the key link between our internal teams, suppliers, and client service operationsensuring seamless execution of factory purchase orders and contributing directly to both financial accuracy and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
  • Manage the full lifecycle of factory purchase ordersfrom creation to deliveryensuring accuracy in dates, pricing, shipping status, and documentation.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for supplier communications, maintaining strong relationships and upholding service standards.
  • Respond to custom and special order inquiries, providing timely quotes, lead times, and availability updates.
  • Collaborate with Accounts Payable to resolve invoice discrepancies and support timely supplier payments.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Product Development, Distribution, and Client Experience teams to address order delays and shipping issues.
  • Drive continuous improvement in supplier performance related to lead times, shipping, and delivery.
  • Act as a liaison between factories and the Commercial Support Team to ensure alignment on product availability and project timelines.
  • Support special projects, process improvement initiatives and other responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in purchasing, order management, or supply chain operations.
  • Familiarity with international shipping and customs processes.
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
  • Experience with JD Edwards (JDE) is a plus.
  • Industry experience in plumbing or surface materials is a bonus.
