General Labor Carpenter

Position Overview:

We are seeking reliable, motivated, and hardworking General Laborers to assist our carpentry team with construction and remodeling projects. This is an entry-level position ideal for individuals interested in learning the carpentry trade while gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist carpenters with framing, building, measuring, cutting, and assembling materials
Load and unload tools, equipment, and materials
Maintain a clean and organized job site
Operate hand tools, power tools, and basic construction equipment under supervision
Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE
Measure and cut lumber or other materials as directed
Remove debris and help prepare sites for construction work
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or senior carpenters
Qualifications:

No prior experience requiredtraining provided
Willingness to learn and take direction
Strong work ethic and dependability
Ability to lift 50+ lbs, stand for extended periods, and work outdoors
Familiarity with basic hand tools is a plus
Reliable transportation to and from job sites
Preferred Skills (Not Required):

Experience using a tape measure, hammer, or drill
Previous construction, demolition, or remodeling work
OSHA 10 certification or willingness to obtain
Work Environment:

Outdoor and indoor construction settings
Work may involve exposure to noise, dust, and varying weather conditions
Team-based work with support and training from experienced carpenters
