Summary

The Project Manager will be the liaison between the estimating services (internal & external) and our end users and engineer of record. This professional will manage the workflow information in a timely manner in order to ensure accuracy of the hardware and WRB estimates. The candidate will work from their home office with projected field visits at 5%-10% of their time.

Responsibilities for Project Manager

  • Determine and define project scope and objectives with excellent communication between the estimating team and multifamily field sales
  • Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner
  • Manage RFI process
  • Prepare budget based on scope of work and resource requirements
  • Maintain advanced level of product knowledge and provide analytical support to multifamily sales organization
  • Track project costs in order to meet budget
  • Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan
  • Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress
  • Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution
  • Provide 2-3 takeoffs monthly to help create redundancy in our estimating department
  • Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement

Qualifications for Project Manager

  • 2 years of Project Management required
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Package-Excel, Outlook, Word
  • Proven ability to solve problems creatively and accurately
  • Strong familiarity with project management software tools (Planswift), methodologies, and best practices
  • Intermediate skills with regards to hardware estimation for multifamily projects
  • Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful
  • Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline
