Manager Construction- Creedmoor, TX - Future Communications

The Construction Manager – Telecom is responsible for overseeing the execution of telecom construction projects, including small cell, fiber installation, and site upgrades. This role ensures that all projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget, and in compliance with safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, coordinate, and manage all aspects of telecom construction projects, including civil, electrical, and structural scopes.
• Supervise field crews, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure quality workmanship and schedule adherence.
• Oversee site prep, equipment installation (e.g., antennas, radios, cabinets), fiber pulls, trenching, and backhaul work.
• Conduct site walks, pre-construction meetings, and quality inspections.
• Track and manage materials, equipment, and labor resources.
• Ensure compliance with all permitting, zoning, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor safety compliance on all job sites and enforce company safety policies (e.g., PPE, fall protection).
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and client representatives to resolve issues quickly and efficiently.
• Prepare and maintain project schedules, reports, punch lists, and close-out documentation.
• Ensure all as-builts, photos, and site documentation are completed and submitted per client requirements.

Qualifications:

• Climb into and out of equipment (cars, trucks, backhoes, trenchers, etc.)
• Operate or work around heavy equipment and machinery
• The ability to work outdoors in a diverse environment
• Work in congested and remote areas
• Work while standing or sitting for several hours at a time
• Must be able to work in small/sometimes confined areas
• Must be able to lift/carry up to 75 pounds
• Reach, bend, stoop while performing work
• Maintain visual and audible contact with other crewman and all moving or stationary persons/ vehicles/objects to ensure safe coordination of movement
