Join a multi-billion dollar manufacturing organization for a contract role as a Product Systems Design Engineer. This role will be part of the R&D team and will play a pivotal role in collaborating with various departments on the design of new products. An ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of mechanical/electrical manufacturing experience with Optics knowledge. This is a contract role that is expected to last at least 6 months and could lead to growth within the company.

responsibilities:
  • Perform system architecture and design work for the R&D Team

  • Specify and validate systems and subsystems

  • Define, analyze, detail, and document specifications of product design

  • Plan and conduct reviews and testings
Qualifications

  • Optics experience

  • Experience in a mechanical and/or electrical engineering manufacturing environment
