Civil/Structural Engineer (recent college graduate)

Pay Rate: $34.00-36.00 Hour W2 / Target Salary: $70 - $75KYR base salary once direct hire
Job Description:
Looking for recent college graduate who can join a national structural engineering firm. You would work directly with the engineering manager and lead on civil / structural engineering projects they are working on nationwide. You would be participating on the actual project planning, design, and structural assembly on project sites. Also learn and be mentored by other more seasoned engineers. Act as a direct liaison with external customers for their structural projects, technical execution, and engineering support. Assist in analyzing structural plans, identify and resolve construction issues, review all design specifications/calculations, and remediate potential risks.
You would be interfacing with project managers, estimators, field crews, and design teams remotely as well as on-site for their projects in the USA. Up to 40% Travel required domestically.

Required Skills:
- 1-3 years in industrial construction or structural steel
- Experience with steel erection engineering practices,
- Familiarity with AISC/Osho guidelines
- Knowledge of or familiarity with Construction Logistics and planning
- AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and structural analysis tools college coursework or actual experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Structural or Construction Engineering
