Note: The hourly rate for this position is $24 - $32 / hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. Responsibilities:

• Operate heavy machinery to move dirt, soil, rocks, and other materials
• Collaborate with construction teams and supervisors to meet project goals
• Ensure equipment maintenance and safety procedures are followed
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans
• Analyze terrain and elevation for proper equipment use and material removal
• Inspect equipment for safety and maintenance needs
• Adhere to local and federal safety regulations

Qualifications:

• Experience operating heavy machinery, specifically dozers
• Ability to cut grade, slope and trenches ideal Knowledge of safety measures and equipment maintenance
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans
• Strong communication and teamwork skills Physically fit to operate heavy machinery for extended periods of time
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
• Physical Demands: Ability to sit and operate heavy machinery for extended periods of time
• Ability to climb onto and off of equipment Ability to lift heavy objects, up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
