Note: The hourly rate for this position is $26 - $30 / hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. Responsibilities:
- Review blueprints, along with building code specifications, to determine work details and procedures
- Measuring, cutting, and bending wire and conduit using measuring instruments and hand tools
- Installing circuit breakers, transformers, switchgear, panels, and other electrical equipment.
- Installing wiring, conduit, cable trays, and raceways for power, lighting, and data systems.
- Diagnose and repair electrical problems in various systems using strong troubleshooting skills.
- Maintaining tools, and equipment and keeping parts and supplies in order
- Following state and local building regulations based on the National Electrical Code
- Must be able to efficiently bend pipe and have strong math skills.
Qualifications:
- Current/active TDLR Journeyman Electrician License
- OSHA-10 Certification - physical card or certificate
- Must have your own transportation to travel to multiple job sites. Will stay within a 35 mile radius.
- 60ft and above Boom lift experience
- Ability to bring a minimum of these tools: Wire snips, Wire Strippers, measuring tape, various screw and nut drivers, electrical tape, zip ties, hammer, Electric Drill
- Ability to stand, bend, kneel and walk for extended periods throughout the day with or without reasonable accommodation
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
- 4 years minimum prior experience in the electrical field required.
- Position does require a drug screen
