Electrical Contracting Superintendent

As an Electrical Contracting Superintendent with PeopleReady Skilled Trades, you'll support multiple industrial/commercial and residential projects in Raleigh/Durham & Leland, NC areas as well as traveling within other states. Note: The hourly rate for this position is $40 - $40 / hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. Responsibilities:

• Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Contracting Superintendent to oversee and manage hotel projects from inception to completion
• The ideal candidate will ensure that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety
• Hours: 5 days x's 8hr days
• Manage and supervise all aspects of electrical contracting projects, including planning, scheduling, and coordination
• Oversee and lead project teams, including electricians, apprentices, and subcontractors, ensuring efficient and effective execution of project tasks
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal electrical codes and safety regulations
• Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure successful project completion
• Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure clear communication and satisfaction
• Prepare and review project documentation, including budgets, schedules, and progress reports
• Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the project lifecycle
• Ensure that all work is performed to the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure adherence to project plans and specifications
• Provide leadership, training, and mentorship to team members

Qualifications:

• 3 years minimum of Hospitality experience either as an installer or lead 3 years minimum of superintendent experience
• Local with desire to travel for future projects
• Must be able to lead a crew of 8-10 workers
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and safety regulations
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Proficiency in project management software and tools
• Valid electrician's license and any other relevant certifications
