Construction Estimator

A well-established general contractor in your area is looking to bring an experienced Estimator onto their growing team. • Analyze plans, specifications, and other documentation to create accurate cost estimates for assigned scopes of work.

• Lead project takeoffs and develop detailed cost breakdowns for materials, labor, and equipment.

• Coordinate the estimating process on select bids, collaborating with internal teams and external partners.

• Communicate with vendors, subcontractors, and stakeholders to gather pricing and confirm scope details.

• Support post-bid activities including change orders, addenda, and procurement tracking.

• Maintain historical cost data, supplier contacts, and documentation to ensure consistent, data-driven estimating.

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.

• 4–7 years of estimating experience in the construction industry.

• Proficiency in reading plans and performing takeoffs for civil scopes such as concrete, earthwork, or utilities.

• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple bids at once.

• Solid command of Microsoft Excel and estimating software tools.

• Strong backlog of public and institutional projects ensuring long-term stability
