Low Voltage Cable Technician
Location: Project based Philadelphia Area (Villanova, Allentown, Abington)
Employment Type: Contract to hire
Overview:
We are currently seeking experienced Low Voltage Cable Technicians to support ongoing projects
across hospitals and universities in the Greater Philadelphia area. This is a great opportunity to join an employee-owned company and contribute to high-impact environments where professionalism and quality workmanship are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Install, pull, and terminate Cat 6A low voltage cabling.
+ Assist foremen and lead technicians with all aspects of cable installation, including site prep and cleanup.
+ Interpret and work from blueprints to perform accurate cable drops.
+ Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety standards.
Top Skills & Qualifications:
+ Proven experience with low voltage cabling: running, pulling, and terminating.
+ Ability to read and analyze blueprints.
+ Experience working in professional settings such as hospitals and universities.
+ Strong work ethic and willingness to assist with various tasks on-site.
Preferred:
+ Previous experience supporting structured cabling projects in healthcare or academic environments.
+ Familiarity with industry tools and testing equipment.
Work Environment:
+ Active job sites in hospitals and universities.
+ Must maintain a professional demeanor at all times as a representative of Excel.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00/hr.
