Ammonia Refrigeration Technician**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a skilled Ammonia Refrigeration Technician to operate, monitor, service, and repair equipment for steam, refrigeration, water, compressed air, and HVAC systems. This role involves making rounds and maintaining logs of daily operations and events for multiple engine rooms and refrigeration equipment. The technician will be responsible for the maintenance and troubleshooting of various systems including ammonia refrigeration compressors, steam boilers, wastewater treatment facilities, and more, while adhering to OEM guidelines.
**Responsibilities**
+ Operate, monitor, service, and repair equipment for steam, refrigeration, water, compressed air, and HVAC systems.
+ Make rounds and keep logs of daily operations and events for multiple engine rooms and refrigeration equipment.
+ Maintain and troubleshoot ammonia refrigeration compressors, condensers, pumps, vessels/recirculatory, purges, evaporators / MAUs, heat exchangers, and control valves/isolation valves.
+ Maintain and troubleshoot steam boilers, wastewater treatment facilities, water heaters, HVAC systems, and air compressors.
+ Participate in the PSM Program and promote safe working habits.
+ Log time and material usage into CMMS for PMs and corrective maintenance.
+ Ensure housekeeping of engine rooms, vessel areas, shops, and all other work areas.
+ Maintain all docks, doors, and roofs.
+ Responsible for the upkeep of building, including windows, walls, grouting, and painting.
+ Work with contractors to help maintain or repair equipment when needed.
+ Perform duties according to SOP and SSOP that meet quality and safety standards pertaining to various regulatory requirements.
+ Report to workstation on time and wear proper work attire; assist in setting up work area.
+ Conduct behavior in compliance with company employee policies.
+ Perform additional duties as assigned.
**Essential Skills**
+ 3-5 years of experience in Ammonia Refrigeration.
+ Experience with PSM.
+ Ability to maintain and troubleshoot refrigeration and HVAC systems.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Electrical repair skills.
+ Industrial equipment maintenance.
+ RETA certification CIRO within 3 years of employment.

**Work Environment**

The temperature varies across different areas, with refrigerated packaging lines and shipping storage areas, while the blow mold area is relatively hot.

**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
