Solar O2 Electrician**

**Job Description**

We are seeking a licensed Journeyman O2 Electrician with hands-on experience in solar photovoltaic (PV) systems and Energy Storage Systems (ESS) for the Greater Seattle Area. This role is ideal for professionals who thrive in dynamic environments and are passionate about renewable energy and electrical craftsmanship.

**Responsibilities**

+ Install, maintain, and troubleshoot residential and light commercial solar PV and ESS systems.

+ Perform rough-in wiring, conduit bending, and panel upgrades.

+ Terminate combiner boxes, install metering equipment, and connect battery backup systems.

+ Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and NEC codes.

+ Ensure all work complies with local and national electrical codes and safety standards.

+ Collaborate with project managers and crew leads to meet deadlines and quality expectations.

**Essential Skills**

+ Valid WA State O2 Journeyman Electrician License.

+ Minimum 35 years of electrical experience, including solar PV and ESS installation.

+ Familiarity with battery storage systems, EV chargers, and residential service upgrades.

+ Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions.

+ Strong communication, time management, and problem-solving skills.

**Additional Skills & Qualifications**

+ OSHA 30 certification preferred.

+ Experience with companies like A&R Solar, United Solar, or Tradesmen International.

+ both rooftop and ground-mounted solar arrays.

+ Forklift certification and familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) a plus.

**Job Type & Location**

This is a Contract position based out of Kenmore, Washington.

**Pay and Benefits**

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $48.00/hr.
