Join our team in a hands-on role supporting the maintenance and improvement of County roads and facilities. You'll operate a variety of equipment safely and responsibly and contribute to important construction and maintenance projects that help keep our communities moving.
Schedule: Full-Time
Winter Hours (October - April): Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Summer Hours (April - October): Monday through Thursday, 6:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Please note: Hours may vary depending on weather conditions or emergency needs, including occasional weekend or holiday work.
This position is part of our safety-sensitive workforce and is subject to mandatory drug testing as a condition of employment.
Qualifications: High school graduate or equivalent and at least one year experience with heavy construction work, or any equivalent combination of training and experience.
Necessary Specialist Requirements: Possession of a valid driver's license and the ability to be insured by the County's insurance carrier. Employees must possess and maintain a valid Nebraska Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and any applicable endorsements within 60 days.
