GFT is seeking an Electrical Engineer Project Manager to support a variety of projects in the West Region. This role follows a hybrid work model, requiring regular attendance at our Fife, WA office.

Responsibilities
What you'll be challenged to do:
Our Electrical Engineers enjoy working on a diverse range of projects in a variety of sectors, including schools, military, healthcare, municipal, institutional, commercial, and multi-family residential. This role will entail managing a project from project award through final construction.

In this capacity, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
- Manage a team of engineers/designers to complete electrical design projects.
- Coordinate with other disciplines as required for a successful project.
- Interface with clients and owners.
- Writing project specifications.
- Managing project budgets.
- Meet with clients for the purposes of obtaining future work.
- Design building and site lighting systems.
- Size, coordinate, and specify lighting fixtures and electrical distribution equipment.
- Calculate and analyze electrical loads.
- Perform lighting calculations to ensure adequate light distribution and energy-efficient design.
- Provide design support in AutoCAD, Revit, and Bluebeam.
- Attend meetings with the project team, including architects and other engineering disciplines.
- Ensure electrical design complies with electrical codes, standards, and regulations.
- Prepare documentation for permit applications and agency review.
- Perform construction site visits and write field reports.
Qualifications
What you bring to our firm:
- Minimum of 10 years experience in the A/E/C industry
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
- Experience with Revit MEP, AutoCad, Microsoft Word and Excel
- Excellent communications skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team
- Excellent attention to detail
- Authorization to work in the United States (required)

Compensation:
The Salary range for this position is $120,000-$175,000. Salary is dependent upon experience and geographic location.
