Starting hourly rate: $22.59 per hour

REQUIREMENTS:

The Residential Refuse/Organics Collector position is responsible for the collection of refuse, organic materials, brush, and bulk items and for the safe operation of vehicles and equipment used in all tasks. While this position is mainly a refuse collection position, other duties will include emergency call in work on a rotating basis, such as snow removal and other semi-skilled work in the repair and maintenance of streets and sewers, maintenance of public property, and minor carpentry and construction tasks.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

High School education and experience in related work field. A valid class B commercial driver's license, with tanker endorsement and without air brake restriction, is required or must be obtained within four 4 months of first day of employment. Must have a valid Pennsylvania driver's license.
