DUTIES:

• Design complex components and sub-systems for Heavy Machinery, including intake and exhaust systems.
• Understand client requirements and cascade the team's tasks to generate concepts

AA A A A A A Collaborate with Suppliers using tools for APQP and PPAP

AA A A A A A Collaborate and schedule work between different teams

• Lead design reviews and resolve technical design conflicts.
• Assess buildability, manufacturability and integration
• Develop 3D model of machine designs in CAD environment

AA A A A A A Assist in establishing design completion dates.

AA A A A A A Perform all other related mechanical engineering duties as needed.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in mechanical engineering and 3 years of mechanical engineering experience. Experience must include:

• 3 years of experience in product development
• 3 years of experience in the 3D design, development and analysis tools (Creo, Catia, Abaqus, and/or Ansys)
• 3 years of experience using PLM tools including Teamcenter.
• 3 years of experience with the design, development & analysis of intake and exhaust systems
• 3 years of experience managing large Bill of Materials
• 3 years of experience with Supplier Collaboration using tools for APQP & PPAP
• A A A A A A A A A A A A 3 years of experience with Team center Engineering
• A A A A A A A A A A A A 3 years of experience with Teamcenter Vis Mockup

A

Six Sigma Green Belt Certification required

Telework: Position may be assigned to undetermined client locations for short- or long-term assignments; 100% telecommuting may be authorized.

SALARY: $87,589-$100,000/year. Regional salary adjustments for CA, CO, NY, and WA states are base + 20% to 30%
