Sr. Experiential Brand Project Manager

Overview:

A senior managerial position over the team's execution of experiential branding services, and quality of design and documentation. Possesses strong leadership and communication skills, a flexible attitude, ability to solve problems creatively and ability to foster and manage effective client and team relationships. Responsible for high-impact decisions across multiple projects. Endorses the firm's values by personally influencing client service, innovation and communication.

Responsibilities:

• Provides project management on 75% of team projects
• Develops project work plans, project fees and budgets
• With Director of Brand Experience, contributes to team strategy, business planning, and financial forecasting
• Establishes best practices, processes, and standards for experiential branding services (Environmental Branding, Branding, Signage & Wayfinding, Digital Experiences)
• Oversees the execution of experiential branding services, and quality of design and documentation
• Assists in the development of new experiential branding revenue and client accounts
• Listens to the needs of clients and effectively communicate strategies to solve challenges
• Monitors job progress versus hours expended to assure project operations are accomplished within approved budgets
• Oversees conflict management between Owner, Architect and Interiors, Consultants and Fabricators with team
• Maintains and prioritizes multiple competing priorities within tight deadlines
• Facilitates coordination and clear communication of information among project team members
• Some travel will be required

Qualifications:

Education and Experience

• Accredited professional degree in Graphic Design, Architecture, Industrial Design, Management, or related field
• Advanced experience working with clients in several markets including: commercial interiors, health, higher education, sports and venues
• Typically 12+ years of experiential branding services (Environmental Branding, Branding, Signage & Wayfinding, Digital Experiences)

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Advanced - expert-level experience, knowledge or skills

Intermediate - experience, knowledge or skills required to produce high-quality solutions or work

Basic - familiar with primary concepts or capabilities and may perform elementary functions depending on role

• Advanced experience in MS Office, MS Teams/Planner, Deltek/Vision required
• Advanced management, coaching and mentoring skills required
• Advanced knowledge of experiential branding processes and its integration into architectural and construction processes required
• Advanced organizational skills and the ability to work on multiple projects at the same time required
• Advanced ability to communicate in a clear, concise and professional manner both verbally and in writing required
• Intermediate proficiency in visual software such as Adobe Creative Suite and Miro required
• Intermediate knowledge of sustainability, integrated design guidelines and building codes required
• Intermediate knowledge of fabrication processes and materials and an understanding of graphics production and fabrication techniques for both interior and exterior applications, with the ability to interpret and manage the shop drawing process, required
• Intermediate presentation skills and ability to communicate ideas in sketches and renderings required
• Intermediate ability to establish messages, review sign text and layout to ensure effectiveness, accuracy of compliance and final design with established signage standards, design and logos required
• Intermediate ability to problem solve and collaborate on innovative solutions required
• Intermediate ability to collaborate and encourage collaboration in team environment required
• Intermediate ability to effectively meet deadlines at expected quality required
