Seasonal HVAC Technician**

**Job Description**

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician for the summer and fall seasons with the potential for layoff during the winter months. You will be responsible for installing HVAC systems, including ductwork, furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ventilation systems in new residential constructions.

**Responsibilities**

+ Install HVAC systems, including ductwork, furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ventilation systems in new residential constructions.

+ Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine installation requirements.

+ Measure and cut ductwork and other materials to the required dimensions.

+ Connect HVAC systems to fuel and water supply lines, air ducts, and other components.

+ Test HVAC systems for proper operation and make necessary adjustments.

+ Ensure all installations comply with local building codes and safety regulations.

+ Collaborate with construction teams, electricians, and plumbers to coordinate installation.

+ Maintain accurate records of work performed, including time sheets and installation reports.

+ Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the installation process.

+ Follow all safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as necessary.

**Essential Skills**

+ Minimum of 2 years of experience in HVAC installation, preferably in new residential construction.

+ Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and installation techniques.

+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.

+ Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

+ Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

+ Valid HVAC certification and driver's license.

**Additional Skills & Qualifications**

+ High school diploma or equivalent; technical school or apprenticeship preferred.

**Pay and Benefits**

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
