Electrical Technician

Wire and assemble electrical control panels, junction boxes, and subassemblies according to customer requirements and engineering documentation. Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, diagrams, specifications, and bills of materials. Perform point-to-point wiring and install various components, including PLCs, relays, switches, and indicator lights. Use hand tools (e.g., wire strippers, crimpers, wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers) to perform tasks such as drilling, tapping, and mechanical assembly. Mount control units and create openings for wiring or components as needed. Install completed assemblies or subassemblies into cabinets and enclosures. Red-line documentation to support Engineering Change Orders (ECOs). Operate hand pallet jacks and perform shop-floor tasks like deburring, grinding, and sawing as needed. Work safely and efficiently, with a willingness to work overtime when required.
