We offer a supportive environment for individuals to begin a journey to safety, hope, and empowerment.What We Offer: Compensation: $70,000-$80,000 annual salary range FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt Work Schedule: Full-time, onsite (35 hours/week), Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-4:30 PM, with occasional evening/weekend events Benefits: 2 weeks vacation, 6 paid personal days, paid sick time, health and dental insurance, life insurance, and access to a 403(b) retirement plan Culture & Community: A supportive, mission-driven environment where your work makes a real differenceAbout The Position: The Outreach and Development Manager supports The Women's Center's mission by implementing outreach, prevention education, and development efforts across the organization's 13-city and town service area. This position works collaboratively with internal teams and community partners to raise awareness of domestic and sexual violence, educate for prevention, promote available services, and support fundraising activities to sustain the organization's mission.Reporting to: Finance and Administration DirectorDirect Reports: Social Media SpecialistResponsibilities:Outreach and Prevention Education Coordinate and deliver outreach and education presentations in schools, community groups, and professional settings. Assist in the creation of materials for outreach, public education, and prevention campaigns (e.g., flyers, brochures, social media posts). Collaborate with program staff to ensure outreach content is trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and aligned with survivor-centered practices. Support the planning and staffing of community events, resource fairs, and awareness campaigns. Maintain records and generate reports related to outreach and education activities.Fundraising and Donor Engagement Assist in the execution of annual fundraising events, including logistics, promotion, and volunteer coordination (e.g., year-end appeal, 5K event). Maintain donor records and acknowledgments in the donor database. Support stewardship activities including thank-you notes, impact updates, and mailings. Assist with researching potential donors and sponsorship opportunities. Collaborate on fundraising materials including newsletters, email campaigns, and social media content.Communications and Marketing Work with staff and consultants to maintain a regular and engaging presence across TWC's social media platforms. Contribute to the development of newsletters, press releases, and marketing materials. Ensure brand consistency across all communications and outreach materials.Skills and Abilities Commitment to equity, social justice, and supporting survivors of domestic and sexual violence Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills Ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines Proficiency in Microsoft 365; familiarity with donor databases and Canva a plus Comfort with public speaking and engaging diverse audiences Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalismEducation and Experience Bachelor's degree in communications, human services, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience Minimum of 2 years of experience in outreach, communications, education, or fundraising in a nonprofit or community setting Experience working in trauma-informed and culturally responsive environments preferredWhy You'll Love Working Here: You'll love working here because we offer a supportive and inclusive environment where your work makes a real impact.
