Qualifications and responsibilities for this Residential Construction Estimator position include: Minimum of 5+ years of residential estimating experience required Proficiency with Buildertrend, Square Takeoff, or comparable construction estimating software Ability to prepare accurate cost estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors Experience analyzing blueprints, plans, and specifications to determine the scope of work Comfortable working in-office 90% of the time and conducting occasional on-site visits Skilled at reviewing contracts and negotiating with suppliers/subcontractors Capable of preparing detailed proposals and pricing breakdowns for clients Strong understanding of residential construction methods and local building codes Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
