Our company is looking for experienced heavy diesel and electrical mechanics to join our growing company!
Responsibilities
?Maintains vehicle functional condition by reviewing the DVIR's (Driver Vehicle Inspection Report)
?Conducting routine vehicle inspections; repairing mechanical and electrical systems malfunctions; replacing parts and components
?Complies with FMCSA vehicle requirements by testing engine, safety, and electrical control standards.
?Maintains Truck and Trailer in routine maintenance program.
?Maintains vehicle records by recording service and repairs.
?Keeps shop equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance repairs.
?Contains costs by using warranty, evaluating service and parts options.
?Ability to lift 50lbs plus, bend, stoop, kneel and climb ladders.
?Above all, must be able to work closely with co-workers or other team members.
?Looking for the right individuals that show integrity, in self and in their work.
Requirements
?1 year of electrical diagnosis and mechanic experience is required.
?1 Year Fabrication Experience is preferred.
?1 Year Welding experience preferred.
?1 year of 12/24 volt electrical experience is required.
?ASE certification is preferred.
?Must have the ability to understand hydraulic and electrical schematics.
?Waste collection equipment knowledge will be a large plus for this position
