MRC Restoration is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Entry-Level Carpenter to join our team! This is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in the restoration and construction field while working in a supportive, team-driven environment.
Job Type: Part-Time (Up to 30 hours per week)
Compensation: Based on experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with general carpentry tasks related to restoration work
- Perform basic drywall installation, repair, and finishing
- Interior and exterior painting
- Install or repair trim, baseboards, and other finish carpentry elements
- Install miscellaneous fixtures such as shelving, towel bars, and hardware
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Support team leads with daily tasks and follow instructions efficiently
- Some experience in painting, drywall, or basic carpentry is a plus, but not required
- Willingness to learn and grow within the role
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in various indoor/outdoor environments
- Reliable transportation and strong work ethic

The IICRC is the Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification, a non-profit organization for the Inspection, Cleaning, and Restoration Industries. The IICRC, originally named the International Institute of Carpet and Upholstery Cleaning Inc. (IICUC), was founded in 1972 by Ed York. Since starting in 1972, the IICRC has evolved into a global organization with more than 49,000 active Certified Technicians and more than 6,500 Certified Firms around the world.
The IICRC is managed by its Board of Directors, which is composed of 15 industry leaders elected by the IICRCs Shareholders. The Board of Directors function is to represent the various interests of the applicants while leading the direction of the organization. The Board of Directors meets four times per year and is tasked with the responsibility of helping shape future policies of the organization and uphold the standards that help shape the industry.
