Electrical Maintenance Technician

We are seeking an Electrical Machine Technician to join our production and maintenance team. This hands-on role is ideal for a technician with some knowledge of CNC machinery and a solid background in electrical diagnostics, repair, and preventative maintenance. The ideal candidate will have experience troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues on equipment, reading schematics, and supporting daily production operations.

salary: $50,000 - $60,000 per year

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain CNC machines including electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems.
  
  
• Perform preventative maintenance on CNC lathes, mills, and other automated equipment to minimize downtime.
  
  
• Diagnose and repair PLC systems, motor drives, wiring issues, relays, sensors, and control panels.
  
  
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and machine documentation.
  
  
• Collaborate with engineers and machine operators to support production efficiency.
  
  
• Install and configure electrical components on new or existing CNC equipment.
  
  
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and document all repairs and part replacements.
  
  
• Ensure compliance with safety and electrical codes.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience with CNC machinery maintenance and electrical repair.
  
  
• strong understanding of industrial electrical systems and mechanical components.
  
  
• Proficient in troubleshooting PLCs, drives, motors, and control circuits.
  
  
• Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical blueprints.
  
  
• Hands-on experience with electrical tools, meters, and diagnostic equipment.
  
  
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  
  
• Associates degree or technical training in electrical, mechatronics, or related field preferred.
