JOB TITLE: Senior Product Support Quality Assurance Engineer

JOB LOCATION: Position Reports to Company Office in Alexandria, VA 22314. FULL REMOTE EMPLOYMENT IS AVAILABLE FOR THIS POSITION. TELECOMMUTING FROM ANYWHERE IN THE UNITED STATES IS POSSIBLE.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for conducting tests before product launches to ensure software runs smoothly and meets client needs, while being cost-effective.
  • Interacting with clients to review their internal workflows and processes and engaging in IT solution discussions to optimize solutions aligned to their organizational goals.
  • Testing current products and identifying deficiencies.
  • Ensuring core functionalities are not broken because of the enhancements/changes/merged tickets implemented in the product.
  • Building rapport and eliciting detailed information from clients regarding the expectations of, and issues pertaining to, the companys products and services.
  • Ensuring no test case/ER is failed because of understanding gaps from BRD during every sprint.
  • Investigating product quality to make improvements to achieve better customer satisfaction.
  • Suggesting solutions to identified product problems.
  • Collaborating with Product Development team to ensure consistent project execution.
  • Identifying quality assurance process bottleneck and suggesting actions for improvement.
  • Overseeing continuous improvement projects.
  • Improving the test ability of applications and initiating discussions on integrating testing from the beginning.
  • Demonstrating adherence to Scrum activities of quality assurance during sprints.
  • Log the defects found in Sprint/Regression with proper data and logs in JIRA.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering or a closely related field (foreign equivalent is acceptable) plus 4 years of employment experience in software quality assurance in healthcare industry.

Employment experience must include:

  • Demonstrated employment experience in requirements analysis, test planning, preparing test cases, and executing test cases for healthcare industry clients.
  • Demonstrated employment experience using JIRA.
  • Demonstrated employment experience in Functional Testing of Window based and Web application testing.
  • Demonstrated employment experience in Smoke Testing, Sanity Testing, and Integration Testing.
  • Demonstrated employment experience in preparing traceability matrix.
