Industrial Maintenance Electrician (PLYWOOD)- Dudley, NC
$3000 SIGN ON BONUS TO QUALIFIED CANDIDATES
Starting Pay $26.00+ Based on skills and experience
$2.00 shift premium

Georgia-Pacific s Dudley, NC facility manufactures high-quality pine plywood panels and siding, supporting residential and light commercial construction. We are willing to train the right person for this position if they are reliable and willing to learn. We work an awesome 4 on shift and 4 off day schedule. Shifts are 12 hours for four work days and then you will be off for four days. An extra fifth day is occasionally available for overtime if we're busy. I have two night shift openings available and one day shift opening available.
What You Will Do
Troubleshoot electrical parts on industrial machinery
Perform routine and preventative electrical maintenance on industrial equipment
Read and interpret electrical schematics to diagnose failures on production machinery
Install conduit, and pull wire to repair or replace damaged electrical circuits

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
You should have at least 6 months of working in an electrical field, or have documented training from a trade school or college in an electrical or industrial technology field
Must be willing to adhere to all safety rules and regulations.
Must be willing to wear all required safety equipment such as hard hats, safety glasses, hearing protection, and safety shoes

What Will Put You Ahead
Military training in a related field
Associates degree or higher in electrical technology or a related subject
More than one year of related experience at a manufacturing facility
Experience with pneumatics and hydraulics in a manufacturing, industrial or military environment
Experience with single and 3 phase electrical repair/trouble shooting up to 480 volts
Experience troubleshooting electrical controls, PLC s, A/C and D/C motors, motor controllers and drives
Experience using a computer for record-keeping and documentation functions
