Structural Designer

You'll take the lead on projects ranging from high-end custom residences to innovative structural solutions for specialty fabricators. From the first site walk to construction close-out, your work will leave a lasting imprint.

• Conduct site evaluations and field assessments to inform design strategy.
• Perform structural analysis and create tailored solutions for:
  • Custom single-family residences
  • Building renovations & structural repairs
  • Ground-up new construction
  • Specialty engineering for steel fabricators
• Draft detailed structural designs and documents using AutoCAD.
• Participate in inspections and construction phase observations to ensure integrity and compliance.
• Collaborate closely with architects, contractors, and fellow engineersyoull be the technical guide across every phase.

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Civil Engineering (Structural emphasis).
• 14 years of experience in structural engineering.
• Strong command of AutoCAD and drawing production.
• Hands-on experience designing with:
  • Structural steel & cold-formed steel
  • Masonry, engineered lumber, and commodity lumber
  • Aluminum, concrete foundations, retaining walls
• Comfortable with job-site evaluations and construction observations.
• Excellent communicatoradaptable, clear, and confident across teams.

• EIT certification (preferred)
• Familiarity with analysis tools like RISA 3D and RAM
• Advanced degree or additional certifications in structural engineering

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $48.00/hr.
